Qatargas Promotes Seat Belt Safety

Qatargas is aiming to persuade more drivers and passengers to wear their seat belts, with a ride on its “convincer’’ crash simulator at the Villagio Mall, Doha from 17 to 23 August.

Qatargas Supports Qatar Postal Corporation

Qatargas recently sponsored a reception dinner gala hosted by Qatar General Postal Corporation during the 24th Universal Postal Congress held from 23rd July to 12th August in Geneva, Switzerland. Doha is the applicant city to host the next Universal Postal Congress in 2012 and the dinner was held to promote Qatar for the world-wide postal community.

The sponsorship cheque was officially handed over during a press conference held at the General Postal Corporation on 20th August. The cheque was presented by Mr. Ghanim Al-Kuwari, Qatargas Chief Operating Officer Administration to Mr. Ali Mohammed Al-Ali, Chairman and General Manager of General Postal Corporation.

Qatargas And Nakilat Name Five Q-Max LNG Carriers

Today Qatargas and Nakilat named two more of the world’s largest Q-Max LNG Carriers at a special ceremony held at Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard on Geoje Island.
